I SEE YOU
A heartfelt letter from my client:
Thanks to Viji, I move forward with a completely different relationship with myself and my body. I am now armed with three fundamental understandings:
I hold the power within my mind and body to heal.
By understanding and learning from my past, I can choose how to move forward.
The path of understanding yourself is a lifelong journey.
Viji is incredibly special, and meeting her has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
It was at a moment where I wanted more than anything to heal that Viji came into my life. For three and a half years, I had been suffering from absent menstrual cycles and a series of seemingly unrelated symptoms: insomnia, low appetite, weight and hair loss, and general fatigue. Prior to these health issues, I had dealt with a mentally traumatic period that left me anxious and depressed. I had seen many doctors and had repeatedly been offered a “quick fix”: birth control pills. I never felt truly understood - my symptoms were often dismissed and left unexplored. The focus was always on masking the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause. But I didn’t want any more band-aids.
Enter Viji!
From the moment I met Viji, I knew that she was different. In our very first session, she took the time to patiently explore what brought me to her. She not only carefully examined each of my symptoms but also strove to understand the major life events that had shaped me. Her warm, welcoming presence made it easy for me to open up. After sharing everything with her, I turned to her for advice on how to move forward. What she said next shocked me. I was expecting to be offered an Ayurvedic medicine or a personalized diet plan, but Viji was a firm believer that no external medicine could heal me. She told me directly that my ill health was rooted in my mind and in past trauma I hadn’t yet processed. In that moment, I realized this was the missing key I needed to heal.
As part of our work together, Viji introduced me to her unique coaching model: Integrated Doshic Personality Health (IDPH) Coaching. Through this method, I began identifying the members of my “inner team” - the parts of myself that shaped how I thought, acted, and behaved. Using this team-based lens, I started to unpack my past trauma. As a result, I developed a better understanding of the thought patterns holding me back and contributing to my ill health. Throughout this process, Viji helped me revisit my past experiences without judgment or shame. She had a deep intuition about what I was feeling and asked insightful questions that helped me get to the root of things. Within merely two months of working with her, my period came back! I couldn’t believe it, but all I can say is that it was a miracle.
Working with Viji has completely reshaped how I view health. I used to think health was only about taking care of the body (through diet, exercise, and sleep). But through Viji, I learned that you can’t truly care for the body without also caring for the mind; they are deeply interconnected. I realized that opening up communication between the mind and body starts by becoming aware of your inner team’s dialogue. Awareness, I learned, is not about thinking and analyzing - it’s about listening to and honoring every voice inside.
I can’t describe my healing journey without talking about Viji as a person. From the very beginning, she saw me as a whole person and believed deeply in my ability to heal. She was a continual source of support - always available when I needed her, and always patient in answering my questions. Last, but not least, she always encouraged me to listen to myself, trusting that I already had the answers within me. I strongly believe it was Viji’s guidance, coupled with the love she showed me, that enabled me to heal.
